In a bowl, mix the olive oil, sugar and orange juice with a fork (no mixer needed). Then, add all the remaining ingredients and continue mixing well.
Lightly oil and flour a cake or pyrex mold and pour in the mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) (fan) for 45-50 minutes (the baking time depends on the oven). Tip: to make sure it is fully cooked, put a knife in the cake towards the end of baking. If it comes out clean, without stuck dough, it means that it’s ready.
Serve with melted chocolate or icing sugar!
Notes
Caution: Never open the oven before 45 minutes have passed because otherwise the cake will deflate.
